The speech at the University of Cambridge

 I had the incredible honour of being invited to the University of Cambridge twice in May.

The first time, I had the opportunity to deliver a speech at a roundtable dinner at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. The second time, I immersed myself in contemporary research on child development and wellbeing, AI, and modern education during the Kaleidoscope Conference.

Each of these experiences left a profound impression on me and became an opportunity to rethink the role of psychology, education in a rapidly changing world. Today, it is especially important not only to implement new technologies, but also to create environments where children learn how to think, explore, ask questions, and unlock their potential.

For me, it is deeply valuable to be part of an international professional dialogue about what the future of academia and education should look like - more interdisciplinary, human-centered, and at the same time open to the opportunities AI can offer.

I was especially inspired by examples of children’s books created by fellow researchers, innovative approaches to STEM education for children, and the opportunity to explore these topics through multiple lenses - scientific, technological, and humanitarian. I am sincerely grateful to Keith Dear, Holly Hedgeland for the invitation to speak, contribute, and share my experience, for the beautiful postcard commemorating this evening. A huge thank you to the conference team for creating such a positive environment that fosters broadening perspectives, collaboration, and growth. I will definitely take away valuable ideas and potential collaborations for Liverpool John Moores University TAILWIND project and Wise Parents School project "Architects of Belonging".

Special thanks to the amazing teams behind both the roundtable dinner and the conference for the impeccable organisation, thoughtful program, and the space created for truly meaningful discussions.

Oxford Ethical Colloquium 2025

It was one of the most memorable days of my professional life. On June 13th, I had the honour of presenting at the Oxford Ethical Colloquium — a gathering of brilliant scholars, education experts, leaders, and changemakers dedicated to exploring the ethical dimensions of our rapidly evolving world.

My presentation, Ethical Innovation for Equity in Lifelong Learning, focused on the ethical implementation of AI within the Women in STEM Network in STEM network. It was truly inspiring to engage in meaningful dialogue with scholars and ethicists from around the world. Thank you for the deep and thoughtful conversations, presentations, and discussions Sarah Frodsham, Fay Stevens, Mark Sandham, Indira Lopez-Bassols BA (Hons), MSc, PhD student, IBCLC, Yung Chun HSU, Joanna Bagniewska, Hidayat Muhamad, Toromani Asunta, Swati Gupta.

Ethics is not just a theory—it’s a living practice that shapes how we lead, innovate, and impact others, especially in the era of AI. My poster presentation allowed for interactive, in-depth discussions, fostering collaboration, deeper connection, and rich, personalized feedback.

A heartfelt thanks to the organisers, participants, and everyone who challenged and enriched the conversation. I'm looking forward to continuing this journey of thoughtful disruption and ethical leadership. 

Guest Lecture “Women in STEM: International Experience”

                                  

On March 27, 2025, at Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy” a guest lecture “Women in STEM: International Experience” was held, which was given by Taisia ​​Mukii, PhD, facilitator of the International Child Development Program ICDP, ambassador of the Women in STEM network (Great Britain). The event was dedicated to the anniversary of the academy – its 105th anniversary – and was organized as part of the Spring Marathon “Experience of Teaching Informatics in Modern Conditions”.

                                          

During the event, the speaker shared her own professional path – from a student of the college of the Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy” to the director of the company “Professional Development of a Teacher” (Kyiv). Taisiia focused on the role of women and girls in science, in particular in STEM education. Special attention was paid to the issues of career development of women in STEM fields, international opportunities and challenges facing women in science and technology.

The event was of interest not only to applicants for the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education in the educational and professional program Secondary Education (Informatics), but was also useful for future teachers of other specialties of the academy.
